Credit Suisse provides private banking, investment banking and asset management services to clients across the world. Active in over 50 countries and employing more than 48,000 people, Credit Suisse is one of the world's premier banks.
Credit Suisse has over 10,000 IT professionals who work globally across almost every conceivable area of technology, from complex programming and client relationship management to systems architecture and project management. Whichever area of IT you decide is right for you, the ability to get involved in what is going on around you and your ability to take responsibility are key to the Bank's long-term success.
We believe in taking the time to find a role that's right according to your skills and interests, as well as the opportunities available. So if you are interested in nontechnical IT positions you could be working in roles such as Business Analysis and Engineering, Service and Delivery Management, IT Risk, User and Production Support, Project Management or Business Management. If you are interested in technical IT positions you could be working in roles such as Application Architecture & Development, IT Operations or System Architecture & Engineering. Whatever your role and department, you'll thrive within an environment based on innovation and technical excellence, creativity and delivery.
Starting in either April or June, and lasting for six or twelve months respectively, Industrial Placements take place in our London office. The training you receive will be predominantly on-the-job training which will give you an understanding of the financial services industry in general, and Credit Suisse in particular, as well as a set of core technical skills.
Industrial Placements take place at the same time as our Internships , and you'll have the opportunity to take part in teambuilding and networking events on an IT and firmwide level. We'll evaluate your progress throughout the course of your placement and, if you impress us, you may be invited to join us on a full-time basis once you complete your placement and your studies.
What We Look For

We will also consider any degree followed by an appropriate conversion course, or a Masters in IT, as well as joint Honors degrees.
