Established in London for 40 years, we represent major UK and international companies and financial institutions. We are ideally placed to work closely with our offices in the Americas, continental Europe, the Middle East and Asia to advise clients on complex corporate transactions. These capabilities have contributed to substantial growth in the business and size of the office, making the London office instrumental to our European practice.

Our main areas of work include European Corporate (including Mergers & Acquisitions, Equity Capital Markets & US Capital Markets), Project Development & Finance, Global Finance, International Arbitration & Litigation, Antitrust, Tax, Financial Institutions Advisory & Asset Management, Real Estate and Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits.

Our training contract is divided into four seats, each lasting six months. Two of these seats will be completed in our core practice areas: Project Development & Finance, European Corporate or Global Finance, while you will be able to select the remaining two groups from the other practice areas. As part of a global firm, trainees may have the opportunity to complete one seat overseas in offices such as, New York, Abu Dhabi, Singapore, Hong Kong or Brussels.

Trainees typically share an office with a senior associate or partner, and as such have the opportunity to learn from those who have been hugely successful in their fields. In addition, the mentoring scheme the firm has in place for trainees allows relationships to develop on an informal level from those who are well placed to offer career advice for trainees.
