Boost your employability at Cass Business School

Careers Relationship Manager Sara Williams explains how the School helps its students find jobs

At Cass Business School, part of City University London, careers relationship managers support students throughout their involvement with the School to give them the best chance of employment.

Meet the careers advisor

Sara Williams is a careers relationship manager at Cass Business School.

"Some companies, including those in financial and professional services, are pulling their deadlines forward to the end of September - sometimes as early as August.

Therefore students need to be proactive and think about applications before they even set foot in the School, which is where we come in.

Induction website with careers help

Once students have paid their deposit they have access to Cass's induction website, where they'll find a wealth of information, advice and guidance on how to prepare their CV, as well as advice on what they can do to prepare for the job market prior to arriving at Cass.

Application workshops

At the beginning of their first semester, and throughout the term, students have access to workshops focusing on key aspects of recruitment such as assessment centres and interviews, as well as other key employability skills such as networking and building commercial awareness.

Careers fair

We hold a careers fair at the end of September before the beginning of term where students and employers have the opportunity to meet.

This can quite often be the first step in the recruitment process and gives students a chance to stand out and make a positive impact on the recruiter and to network.

Companies who have attended previous fairs include Amazon, Citi, Deloitte, Gazprom Marketing & Trading, GSK, ICAP, PwC and many more."

Cass Business School has a range of MSc programmes suited to recent graduates, including its MSc Global Supply Chain Management.
