My experience at BPP Business School

Ramin Jabbari obtained degrees in engineering in Iran and from the University of Edinburgh. He's now studying on BPP Business School's MSc Management course.

"One thing I like most about BPP Business School is that our tutors are all successful professionals, so I feel that the examples they give us in the classroom are really useful.

They're also very friendly - it's easy to chat to them if I have any problems and they help me understand anything I'm having difficulty with.

But I mainly chose BPP Business School because of the help with finding work placements they provide - I thought that at this competitive time, when there are plenty of graduates from good universities looking for jobs, getting work experience would be beneficial.

There are lots of careers-related events put on for us. At the last one I went to they'd invited head recruitment people from various employers and they talked to us about what points to consider when applying, what their application processes were like, what to say in front of them in an interview, and what not to say!

That was really useful for me - because I had no idea at all about some of these areas before the event.

People here responsible for finding us work placements and assisting us with our applications have helped me so much - correcting my CV, preparing me for interviews, emailing or calling me to let me know about events being held relating to metals trading, an area they know I'm really interested in.

BPP Business School's location is great - right next to the "Gherkin" building - and everything relating to business in the City is happening around you. The School itself is a nice environment to be in, and I've made good friends here."
